There’s somewhere around 20 different mini golf courses in Pigeon Forge, which can leave you wondering where exactly to go. None of them are cheap, so if you’re going to spend money on mini golfing as an activity, you might as well make sure to select a fun course. Personally, I hate spending money on disappointing activities.
We didn’t set out to go to Scooby Doo Mini Golf in Pigeon Forge. Rather, it found us. This outdoor mini golf course is situated in the outdoor shopping complex, The Mountain Mile. This course just opened in 2025, so it’s pretty new to the scene of mini golfing in Pigeon Forge. With so many newer characters these days, it was nice to see that everyone still loves Scooby Doo.

However, I will say that this course does offer a little more than your standard mini golf that’s been around forever. Should you do this Scooby Doo Mini Golf course on your family trip to Pigeon Forge? Here’s what I think you should know.
Scooby Doo Mini Golf Pigeon Forge: Two Courses

Let’s start with the most important basics of what you want to know about a mini golf course. Scooby Doo Mini Golf in Pigeon Forge, TN has two different courses. The first 18-hole mini golf course (purple) is called Coolsville Cemetery with a uniquely spooky course theme throughout. I’ve played a lot of mini golf courses in my time traveling. No one likes a boring course. Luckily, I feel Scooby Doo Mini Golf did a good job keeping things interesting with making a variety of hole difficulties that everyone can enjoy. The designers did an excellent job with the theming of this course.
On each hole of the Coolsville Cemetery course, music and sounds truly bring the Scooby Doo theme to life. If you don’t know the Scooby Doo characters, I still think the course would be amusing. If you do, the course will come to life even more for you.
The second of the two courses here, Coolsville Mine, was not yet open when I visited. This 18-hole orange course can be seen directly after you walk out of the starting point. I can’t speak to this course just yet, but it looked pretty fun. The staff confirmed that both courses are of equal difficulty.
The Scooby Doo Mystery Putt experience

The mini golf experience here is more or less what you’d expect from any standard mini golf course. First, you’ll select a ball, grab a score card and a mini pencil, and grab a putter to get started. There is little to no shaded areas on this course. TN summer heat can get quite hot. I do recommend packing sunscreen, a hat, and water as you may be waiting awhile to complete this course (especially if going during peak summer travel times).
Overall, we enjoyed that this course had something different to offer theme-wise. You’ve probably seen dinosaur themed mini golf courses in every family-friendly vacation destination. But have you tried a Scooby Doo mystery putt? Probably not (which means your Pigeon Forge trip is your time to do so).
