Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City has quickly become one of my favorite hotels in Atlantic City. But now there’s even more reason to love this hotel on the Atlantic City boardwalk: The opening of Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar. Ocean Casino Resort set it self apart from other hotels in the area with the debut of something different to do in Atlantic City than just gambling inside hotels.
This exciting new indoor mini golf just debuted earlier this year, so I made it a point to check it out during my recent trip here. And no, mini golf at Ocean is not your typical “kiddie” course. Here’s what you need to know about AC’s newest hotspot before you visit.
What is Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar?
Most Atlantic City hotels have more or less the same things: Slot machines, table games, bars, restaurants, pools, spas, etc. All of these things to do are great but sometimes you just want to do something different. What do you do in Atlantic City at night once you’re tired of losing money or sitting at a bar? Clearly, Ocean Casino Resort had the same question and found the answer in their new adult mini golf.
Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar isn’t your typical mini golf. This indoor entertainment venue combines a regular bar experience with an interactive mini golf course. The detailing throughout the course is pretty impressive, with an ocean theme throughout that includes over $500,000 of immersive holograms. The glow-in-the-dark vibes make the experience even more fun. Guests can choose to play the bottom 9 holes or pay for the entire 18 hole course which continues onto the upper level.
When you first walk in, you can grab drinks at the bar located in the middle of the course. Along the course there are places to put your beverage down (so feel free to get a drink to enjoy throughout the experience). If you don’t want to play, you can also just enjoy the sports bar atmosphere at the bar seating.
The Ocean mini golf experience
What I love about Ocean’s 18 mini golf is that it feels more like an entertainment venue than just your typical mini golf course. The glow lighting, bar atmosphere, and immersive holograms make it feel like something to do. Since this spot becomes only for 21+ after 9 PM, it has more of a bar atmosphere that makes for a great hang out spot after dinner. The only downside here is that when it gets busy, you might be waiting a long time to play each hole. On the other hand, this gives you more time to go slow and enjoy the experience.
I think this spot will become increasingly popular for all types of groups, including couples, parties, and friend groups. Everyone likes a good challenge. The holes were actually pretty challenging, too, which is especially fun while having a few drinks. If you go looking for Ocean’s 18 mini golf and bar photos online, you probably won’t find too many just yet. Remember, this spot just opened in January so it is still pretty new!

Q: Can all ages play mini golf at Ocean Casino?
A: Ocean’s 18 is open throughout the day for all ages to enjoy the 18-hole mini golf course. On weekdays, all ages can play from 2 PM to 9 pm. On weekends, all ages can play from 11 AM to 9 PM. After 9PM on all days of the week, everyone playing must be ages 21+.
Q: Where is Ocean’s 18?
A: Ocean’s 18 mini golf is located right off the casino floor. You can find it right next to LaScala’s fire. This hotel floor is pretty big and it can be a little challenging to find, but just follow the signs on the casino floor and you’ll be good to go.
Q: How much does mini golf at Ocean Casino cost?
A: You can play 9 holes for $15 per person and 18 holes for $25 per person. There’s also an option to add the “challenge hole” for an extra $5 per person. You can also just play the challenge hole on its own for a chance to win prizes.

A: You cannot make a reservation here. As it gets busy there will be a line, especially on Friday & Saturday evenings.
